The shining light
beckons through the dark
the dark
Which is warm. not scary
safe
The light offers a challenge.
the light beckons
light calls
the light shines through
a keyhole
Do I know the key?
Is it a song?
Or chant.
a simple touch
or gesture
What opens this space to me?
Me, I need to open.
I feel. Nervous
The light seems too bright.
I like the dark.
It feels safe.
Am I ready?
Have I the courage to open this door?
To let this light in?
Is it the right time?
I think I shall rest here a while.
Until I feel the answering light within my heart.
I pause, my heart sparks and flame is kindled
Spilling out light gradually
until
I match the shine!
and walk
as the door opens
surrounded by all of my spirit team.

Starting this year I am taking a journey among the trees, focusing on a different tree each month.
I would love for you to join me.
My plan is to connect to the spirit of each tree through guided journeys, intuitive drawing, creative writing, craft, ritual and largely, spending regular time just being with that particular type of tree.
Alongside growing a sensory, embodied relationship with the tree, we will dip into the world of data and see what others have discovered about these trees.
