Since November 2014 I have been volunteering at the Restore Dartington. A social enterprise under the umbrella of Refurnish. We restore and upcycle furniture which would otherwise go to landfill. While minding the shop I met a lovely woman in her later years, who told me she caned chairs and offered to teach me when I expressed interest. Since then I have learned these skills in the workshop through her,  other volunteers and good old You tube.  Above is some of the chairs I have sinced worked on.
