Throughout history nature has inspired so many artists, thinkers, writers, and designers.
Why is this?
Creativity arises effortlessly in a space of relaxed play. When we take time to stop and tune into our Natural world through our senses, we find an abundance of awe-inspiring creativity in action to investigate. Investigation is a kind of play. Trying something out and seeing how it feels. This play naturally evokes our imagination which is the root of creative thinking.
At this time of year, with the longer light evenings and early mornings there is more time to enjoy being outside. So much is bursting into life to delight your eyes like the incredible forms as leaf buds unfold. Marvelous geometry and packaging in action. Cherry blossom drifting on the breeze and golden leaf casings cascading through the forest, catching the sunbeams.
Growing up, so many of us have had negative feedback about our creative endeavors and this has often caused us to believe that we are not creative. In partnership with the greatest creator, Nature, I offer you the space to uncover and reclaim your creativity.
Taking time for such mindful and playful practice is also a wonderful tonic for our mental wellbeing, I found this practice an incredible support during this time of uncertainty and fear induced by the Coronavirus.
